Sheep. I want to know how I can connect with them. How I can connect with wool. What I can do with wool. I will read about them. I will spin. I will shear.
the first time:
It was demonstrated to me. Pedal calmly in a rhythm. Try to steer the wheel to the right. Pull with one hand, resist with the other, and release. Thickness matters. Sometimes thinner is easier than thicker.
second time:
It's going much better. The rope breaks less often. I can also make it thinner.
third time:
It had been a while, but I started spinning again. I had to get the technique down once more. The spun wool kept breaking, which was really frustrating. But I just kept going until I got the hang of it again.
fourth time:
Last time, someone came up to me and asked if I wanted some wool. Of course, I said yes. When I received the wool, I tried it out right away. The wool fibers were clearly much longer than the wool I had before. This made spinning so much easier. You can really see the difference in the spun wool as well.
